Once Upon a Mattress was originally cast in February of 2020. After 6 weeks of hard work, the show went on hiatus due to the pandemic. Twice, ACTS attempted to get the show on stage as restrictions were gradually lifted, but the second time was interrupted by Hurricane Laura's landfall. With damage to the building, the show was put on hold yet again. Finally, over a year later, we look forward to staging the show at the West Cal Event Center in Sulphur. Our building is being repaired, but the cast that has been so patient deserved a chance to see their hard work on stage as soon as we could make it happen.
