Carolyn Woosley
Carolyn Woosley is the co-founder and producer of Itinerant Theatre, Inc. She is a board member of The Lake Charles Little Theatre. A retired financial planner, she is best known as playwright/director/producer. Recently, her collection of 13 monologues, Louisiana Women, was produced and performed across the state of Louisiana. She is active in Southwest Louisiana issues ranging from downtown development in Lake Charles, to NPR, to coastal preservation, and is the recipient of the 2004 Civic Service Award of the Chamber/Alliance SWLA. She is a native and resident of Lake Charles and is a graduate of Tulane (Newcomb College, B.A. history) and UCLA (MA urban planning). Carolyn made her directorial debut at ACTS with Tuesdays with Morrie in January 2013.
